WHY “MADE WHOLE”?
The name “Made Whole” has 2 meanings.
- Made Whole refers to food that is made with whole ingredients that are free from chemicals, anything artificial, or ingredients you can’t pronounce (except quinoa of course! haha)
- The name Made Whole is inspired by the thought that God has made us whole, holy and perfect and given us purpose, and therefore, our bodies are worthy of love, and it is our responsibility to take care of them.
What’s GOD got to do with it?
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it for the glory of God” [1 Corinthians 10:31]
I really believe that our purpose on earth is to glorify God in everything we do. You can glorify God by the way you treat your body and the way you eat. The purpose of “diets” are usually to make your body look good BUT healthy eating is not just about looking good, but fueling your body to carry you through life more efficiently so you can achieve more of your goals and be your best you. Healthy eating can come from a place of knowing your worth in God, knowing you are worthy of love and respect, and that your body is too. Eating well can be a form of self love. You can’t love others if you can’t love yourself first. You can’t grow healthy families, businesses and communities if you are not healthy yourself. Prioritise taking care of yourself with good food! You are worth it!
“He was pierced because of our rebellions and crushed because of our crimes. He bore the punishment that made us whole; by his wounds we are healed.” [Isaiah 53:5]
